چکیده
High frequency (HF) radio wave propagation is sensitive to ionospheric disturbances caused by space weather. Changes in conditions can be directly measured with an HF transmitter/receiver link. This paper presents data from one such link, consisting of a transmitter located Ottawa, ON, Canada, and directional receiver Alert, NU, Canada. The emits signals at 6 distinct frequencies between 5.4 14.4 MHz on set schedule that are detected processed the receiver. Based 644 days archived data, statistical analysis characterizing over course day year presented. found follow regular diurnal variation density, modulated seasonal trends. A new method for distinguishing weather effects changes presented, which utilizes quiet baselines, similar riometer curves. allows easy impacts two points. applied auroral absorption event occurred 06 June 2016, used successfully distinguish related dropouts daily variation.

Simulation of Wave Propagation over Coastal Structures Using WCSPH Method
In this paper a space-averaged Navier–Stokes approach was deployed to simulate the wave propagation over coastal structures. The developed model is based on the smoothed particle hydrodynamic (SPH) method which is a pure Lagrangian approach and can handle large deformations of the free surface with high accuracy. In this study, the large eddy simulation (LES) turbulent model was coupled with th...

Wireless technology continues to experience rapid growth and development. With the ever increasing demand for wireless services and applications, more advanced tools are necessary to ensure the performance of these wireless systems. One of the most important tools for system development and radio planning are the radio propagation channel models. These models allow system designers and radio pl...
متن کاملRadio Wave Propagation Through Vegetation
Vegetation is an indispensable feature of most outdoor wireless channel environments. The interaction between radio waves and vegetation has been researched for several decades. Because of the complex structure of the foliage, composed of randomly oriented trunks, branches, twigs and leaves, the involved physical process in the propagation of the radiowave through vegetation is complex. Accurat...
